The overall experience was bad. The check in service was super-slow. I booked for 2 rooms. 1 of my guests did not check in after 1 hour or so, even though he was upgraded to business suite (1931 if I was not mistaken). Then when we got into the room, there was no electricity at all in the room. Faulty system which took forever to fix and my guest had to eventually wait for another room. So the overall check-in time into a room took almost 2 hours! Then the next day (which was during the most horrendous rain in jakarta17/01/13) leaks were apparent along the corridor of the 19th floor. The smell was bad, mouldy and definitely unhealthy. Parking was poor. How can you have 1 level of parking with 400 over rooms. Definitely poor facilities. And in parking area, strong smell of sewer was strong!

The location of this place is convenient, being close to the Stadium, offering modern, tidy rooms with very comfortable beds.

As its still very new they have a few wrinkles to sort out such as the Spa. We were asked to pay cash for drinks taken in the spa rather than sign for the bill. Staff in the spa which is managed by another company didn't really know what the rules on use of tha facilities were which led to confusion.\ The room description on Booked.net was inaccurate as the standard rooms do not have a bathtub.

We had a wonderful stay at Grand Mercure! The spacious and clean room provided a comfortable retreat during our conference. The bedding was luxurious, with four pillows for added comfort. The location was perfect, with a McDonald's next door and a shopping center just a short walk away. We enjoyed the variety of local and Western options at breakfast. Despite a minor issue with the shower gel, the housekeeping staff promptly resolved the problem. we highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant and enjoyable stay.

Hotel is new. Lots of services are not available E.G. vallet , wireless internet, city map was not available took 1 hour to get, staff needs more training and efficiency in foreign language E.G. English, roo mins are basic , room service menu needs to improve .
